Who We Are
What do you look for in a church? Someplace close to home? Do you like a place that looks and feels traditional, but isn't bound by tradition? Do you like to be in a congregation that's big enough to make a difference, but small enough so you know everybody in it? Do you like to be welcomed when you visit?
Welcome to Northeast United Methodist Church! We're close to downtown and the first-ring northern suburbs. We're an urban church, focused on making our part of the city a little bit better, a little bit happier.
We're a blend of old and new. Call it "tradition, with a twist." We're a church where the pastor and choir get down among the people, and the people really care--about each other, and about others. Where the music is good, and plentiful. We care about what's happening in our neighborhood and in our world. We want to make the world a better place. We're on a mission to discover what God wants us to do, and to share his love with everyone.
